Gavri Catches Running Quads to Cooler Steven

Gavri opened 55 to $3,500, Steven called with 22, and Elamawy called with J4. The pot was 14,600.

The flop came K23, giving Steven a set of duces, but the other two players were left empty-handed. Two players checked Gavri bet $3,000, and Steven called. The pot was $17,600.

The turn was 5, giving Gavri a set of fives against Steven’s set of duces. Steven checked again; Gavri fired a bet of $11,000, which got raised to $29,000 by Steven; Gavri called. The pot was $75,600.

The river came 5, securing the hand for Gavri, but he only had $39,000 behind. Steven shoved, and Gavri snap-called to win the pot of $153,600. Steven couldn’t believe what had happened, and Gavri admitted it was bad cooler.

Steven Gets His Money Back

Steven opened to $5,000 with 33, and only Pacheco called with 106. The pot was $11,900.

The dealer put down J36 on the flop, giving Steven a set, but surely he had flashbacks to hand against Gavri. Pacheco checked, Steven c-bet for $7,000, and Pacheco called with the second pair. The pot was $25,900.

The turn came 4, inducing the same action as the earlier street, but this time, Steven bet $20,000, and Pacheco called. The pot was 65,900.

The river was Q, and it looked like it might kill the action for Steven, who bet $47,000, but this wasn’t the case as Pacheco went for a bluffcatch and was disappointed when he saw his opponent show him the set of threes. Steven won the pot of $159,900.

Elamawy Bluffs the Bluffer

Steven opened to $4,000 with 86, Elamawy 3-bet to $20,000 with AK, and Steven was the only caller. The pot was $43,500.

The flop came QJ4, and both players checked.

The turn was 3, Steven fired a bluff of $37,000, and Elamawy called. The pot was $117,500.

The river came 5, and Steven continued to bluff and went for a bet of $77,000; Elamawy responded with an all-in, holding the ace high and forcing Steven to fold his bluff. Elamawy won the pot of $271,500.

Elamawy Ran Robl Over For One Mill

Robl opened to $2,000 with KK, Elamawy 3-bet to $10,400 with AK, Robl 4-bet to $35,000, Elamawy 5-bet to $150,000, Robl 6-bet shove for $489,000 and Elamawy called and we get the biggest pot of the season. The pot was $981,300.

They decided to run it twice, and the first board was Q9A78, securing Elamawy at least half of the pot.

The second runout wasn’t better for Robl, as the dealer put down 67A34, giving Elamawy the other piece of the pot. Elamawy won $981,300, which was one of the biggest pots in the show’s history.
