Ronny Albrigtsen Wins Kings of Tallinn PLO Progressive Bounty Title

One of the Europe’s most prestigious festivals Kings of Tallinn is underway these days at Olympic Park Casino and Hilton Tallinn Park. 53 events will be featured from February 23 till March 5 in this 9th iteration of the series.

One of the most action-packed tournaments on the schedule was Event #12: 4&5 Cards PLO Progressive Bounty with €250 buy-in. Out of 148 players who entered the event and generated €16,694 prize pool + bounties, it was PokerPro.cc Ronny Albrigtsen who claimed the title at the end, beating Victor Tabulovich in heads-up.

Both players received €3,650 top prize, but Albrigtsen wins himself a big bounty at the end as is usual in progressive tournaments.

Norwegian is also the captain of Team Re-entries alongside Sandvik Espen Smorholm, Stormyr Sondre, and Beizaks Edgars, a team who is currently leading the Team Standings at Kings of Tallinn 2023. The top performing team will receive 75% of the Team Challenge prize pool, which includes 2% of all Kings of Tallinn tournament’s prize pools.

The highlight of the series is €1,100 Main Event with a whooping €500,000 guaranteed prize pool that starts on Wednesday, March 1st. In 2022 Ronny went deep in Main and finished the tournament in 17th place and had several other final table appearances. In November he joined us in Gevgelija, North Macedonia for a Flamingo & Friends Festival where he also went deep in the Main Event.
