Ethan Yau, more known as Rampage, has once again proven himself to be one of the hottest tournament players right now, as he secures his sixth WSOP Circuit Ring playing online on WSOP.com while simultaneously playing live in the 2023 World Series of Poker Omaha8 event.
He won the $150,000 NLH High Roller 6-Max event in style with pocket Aces against Cherish Andrews’ K7, denying her first WSOPC Ring. Ethan pocketed $41,000 for the win.
Rampage’s ascent in the poker world has been nothing short of remarkable. Just five years ago, he was armed with a mere $3,000 to his name when he picked up a camera and started doing poker vlogs for his YouTube Channel @RampagePoker. Through unwavering dedication and study, he became one of the most recognizable names in poker.
Yau’s achievements in poker tournaments extend beyond his WSOP Circuit rings. His meteoric rise has seen him win a WSOP bracelet, secure a WPT title in the $25,000 High Roller Event, claim a PokerGO title in the $10,000 Poker Masters, and he is now close to $2 million in career tournament winnings.
His achievements on and off the felt have not gone unnoticed, as Rampage picked up two awards at the 4th Global Poker Awards this year for the Best Vlogger and Best Poker Personality voted by fans. Just recently, he signed up as a new WPT Global ambassador, an online poker site backed by World Poker Tour that has recently seen a similar rise in popularity in the poker industry.

Rampage is not just a formidable force in the tournaments but also in the high stakes cash games. One of his most memorable cash games sessions was at Hustler Casino Live “The Million Dollar Game,” a historic stream that broke many records and saw him walk away with a profit of $588,000.
In a total of 20 appearances, he has managed to amass an astonishing $1,343,090 in profit after finding himself down almost $200,000 last year. Still, similar to his tournament achievements, he clawed his way back, turning the tide in his favor.
