Scott Seiver managed to win three World Series of Poker bracelets in this year’s WSOP series. Seiver beat Michael Rocco, who came in second place with 3,803 points, just 600 points behind Seiver, who scored 4,403 points. Jeremy Ausmus came third with 3,686 points.
This year, Player of the Year scoring had different rules than in previous years. The old scoring system benefited players who played the most bracelet events and had deep runs. This year, WSOP changed the system and scored only the top ten results in bracelet events. Winning a big-field, high-buy-in tournament will earn you the most points. Players will also have to earn a minimum of five cashes to participate, and only one online cash will count.
