Just as historic WPT World Championship has finished at Wynn Las Vegas with a record-breaking event attracting 2,960 runners and Canadian Eliot Hudon taking it down for $4.1 million, WPT already is looking ahead to the start of a new 21st Season.
“Coming off an incredible 20th-anniversary season for WPT, we are looking forward to its progression into 2023,” said WPT CEO Adam Pliska. “Players have much to anticipate during Season XXI, as we have established some new partnerships and continued our relationships with longstanding staples of the Tour.”
WPT CEO is also talking about their partnership with WPTGlobal, which will surely provide many ways for players to qualify for upcoming WPT Main Events. WPTGlobal sent more than 100 players to the WPT World Championship with packages worth over $12,400 each.

The Season XXI will open with inaugural WPT Prime stop in Paris and continue in the land down under where WPT returns after setting records in the state of Queensland in 2022 with WPT Australia.
The Main Tour will start with $3,500 buy-in WPT Rolling Thunder from April 1-4 at Thunder Valley Casino in Northern California, host of final live Main Tour tournament of 2020.
“It is the pride of WPT to offer such a wide range of tournament festivals when it comes to buy-in and location,” said VP of Global Tour Management Angelica Hael. “We would like to extend our sincerest thanks to all of our live partners worldwide and our appreciation for the players for their continued support”.
