Jack, Franke, and Rosey, the poker trio behind Next Gen Poker, one of the most popular short-form poker content creators, are joining forces with WPT Global. This summer, the group brings its dynamic and engaging content to the World Poker Tour, aiming to captivate both their online audiences and live players in Las Vegas.
Next Gen Poker has garnered a significant following, just hitting a 200,000 subscriber mark on their YouTube Channel @NextGenPoker and over 260,000 followers on TikTok, making them one of the biggest poker content creators in the world.
They are part of a new generation of poker vloggers, following in the footsteps of pioneers like TheTrooper97, Andrew Neeme, Brad Owen, Jeff Boski, and others.
The trio started their poker journey on a Texas college campus, playing for dollars with fraternity members. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, and card rooms and casinos shut down, they saw an opportunity to fill the void in the poker vlogging space, and thus Next Gen Poker was born. Their channel has garnered considerable attention, with some YouTube shorts gaining dozens of millions of views.
Next Gen Poker will test natural engagement abilities in live tournaments this summer, representing WPT Global in two five-figure buy-in tournaments in Las Vegas.
The first tournament they will participate in is the $10,500 buy-in WPT EveryOne for One Drop at Wynn Las Vegas, starting July 9. This tournament features a $10 Million Guaranteed prize pool and benefits the One Drop Foundation. The charitable organization has worked for over a decade to provide water to communities worldwide.
They will also represent WPT Global in the $10,000 World Series of Poker Main Event starting July 3 at Horseshoe Las Vegas and the Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino.
Next Gen Poker will be part of an impressive lineup of ambassadors, including renowned poker figures in the poker and entertainment worlds. The team already boasts the likes of Phil Ivey, Brad Owen, Andrew Neeme, Lynn Gilmartin, Steve Aoki, and Ethan “Rampage” Yau, who signed in April this year. The team also had the honor of having the late Doyle Brunson, a legendary figure in the poker world, as a member.
