Jordan Banfield Wins PKO for $2,923 + $3,300 in Bounties
It was quite the marathon in the PKO game. Despite the smaller-than-expected field, it still took more than 10 hours to decide the winner tonight, with heads up between Weston Pring and Jordan Banfield lasting for several levels.
Both players were all in at risk during the HU play, with each player securing a double to stay alive, but HU was pretty cagey between them. Most of the pots were raise and take it spots, with a few hands going to a board but generally not to showdown.
In the final hand, Banfield shoved his button with ace-eight and Pring agonized over the call. He finally decided it was time and ended up in a race between pocket fours and Banfield’s ace-eight. Banfield found two more aces on the board while the fours bricked for Pring. Banfield got $2,923 for the win plus $2,350 from the final two bounties in addition to the $950 he collected earlier in the evening.
Final Results from PKO
Place Player Prize 1 Jordan Banfield $2,923 2 Weston Pring $2,923 3 Kurt Lillemo $1,714 4 Ty Adams $1,109 5 Debi Loomer $806 6 Nathaniel Brown $609 -
Weston Pring Out in 2nd Place for $2,923 (+ $875 Bounty)
Level: 23 (15000/30000/30000) Entries: 1/56 Prizes: $21,280 ($10,080 prizes, $11,200 bounties) It was a battle heads up between Weston Pring and Jordan Banfield, but in the end, Pring fell just short of the win. Both he and Banfield were all in, at risk during heads up with both securing doubles to stay alive.
In the end, it came down to a coin flip between pocket fours for Pring and ace-eight for Banfield. There was an ace on the flop and another on the turn to give Banfield the big lead. Pring needed a four on the river to stay alive, but he bricked to finish in second place tonight.

Pring Has the Lead
Level: 21 (10000/20000/20000) Entries: 2/56 Prizes: $21,280 ($10,080 prizes, $11,200 bounties) Jordan Banfield is down to less than 200k now after a big pot went to Weston Pring. Pring limp-called preflop when Banfield raised to 45k. They both checked the 6♠8♥9♣ flop but Banfield led for 25k on the A♣ turn. Pring called to the [invalid notations] river, but when Banfield fired 100k, Pring shoved the covering stack and forced the fold from Banfield.
In the next hand, Banfield grabbed a double with queen-ten against jack-six so he’s back up to about 400k.
-
Kurt Lillemo Out in 3rd Place for $1,714 + $725 in Bounties
Level: 21 (10000/20000/20000) Entries: 2/56 Prizes: $21,280 ($10,080 prizes, $11,200 bounties) Kurt Lillemo shoved the button and Weston Pring called from the big blind with more. Pring was on ace-king against ace-ten for Lillemo. Both players rivered the ace, but nothing else connected on the board, so the king kicker kicked Lillemo to the cage.
-
Lillemo Takes it on Turn
Level: 20 (8000/16000/16000) Entries: 3/56 Prizes: $21,280 ($10,080 prizes, $11,200 bounties) Kurt Lillemo raised the small blind to 40k and Jordan Banfield called from the big. Lillemo fired 40k on the A♥6♠5♥ flop and Banfield called, but when Lillemo went to 70k on the 4♦ turn, Banfield’s cards hit the muck.
Banfield is the leader with more than 400k while Lillemo has about 360k as does Weston Pring.
-
Ty Adams Out in 4th Place for $1,109
Level: 20 (8000/16000/16000) Entries: 3/56 Prizes: $21,280 ($10,080 prizes, $11,200 bounties) Weston Pring raised, the called of the shove from Ty Adams with more. It was a race between pocket sixes for Adams against ace-jack for Pring. There was an ace on the flop and no further help for Adams, so he hit the rail for 4th place with and extra $875 in bounties to cash in.
-

They all checked the K♣K♥2♥ flop but small blind Weston Pring bet 20k on the J♣ turn. Big blind Kurt Lillemo mucked while Pring called to the 5♠ river, then fired 25k. Banfield tanked for a bit, then called, but mucked his hand when Pring showed pocket aces.
Action is now moving to the poker room to finish it out.
