Pring Takes One
Level: 17 (5000/10000/10000) Entries: 5/56 Prizes: $21,280 ($10,080 prizes, $11,200 bounties) Debi Loomer raised the button to 20k and Weston Pring defended his big blind with a call. They both checked the 8♣K♥4♥ and Pring led out for 15k on the 9♣ turn. Loomer called, then called 20k on the 6♣. Both players turned the 9, but Pring’s ace was the best kicker.
-
Nathaniel Brown Out in 6th Place for $609
Level: 18 (5000/10000/10000) Entries: 5/56 Prizes: $21,280 ($10,080 prizes, $11,200 bounties) They are down to 5 players left now after Nathaniel Brown’s flopped set couldn’t hold against Jordan Banfield’s heart flush. The money was in preflop with Brown on pocket tens and Banfield on the suited ace. Brown flopped his ten but there were two hearts as well, with the turn and river also coming hearts to complete the flush for Banfield.
-
Lillemo Has Overpair
Level: 17 (4000/8000/8000) Entries: 6/56 Prizes: $21,280 ($10,080 prizes, $11,200 bounties) Kuet Lillemo raised to 20k under the gun and Jordan Banfield called from the button. Lillemo shoved the 8♣9♣3♥ flop for 84k and Banfield called after about 30 seconds of thought. Banfield had A♥9♥ for top pair on the board, but Lillemo was playing pocket queens. The turn and river bricked for Banfield and the queens held.
-
In the Money
Level: 17 (4000/8000/8000) Entries: 6/56 Prizes: $21,280 ($10,080 prizes, $11,200 bounties) They are now in the money in the PKO after Derek Letourneau was the bubble tonight. His money went in on the flop with a club draw against Debi Loomer, but he bricked his draw for Loomer to take the bounty and put the remaining players in the money.
-
Banfield Gets There?
Level: 17 (4000/8000/8000) Entries: 7/56 Prizes: $21,280 ($10,080 prizes, $11,200 bounties) In the final hand of ay 3000/6000/6000, Jordan Balfield opened early to 13k and Ty Adams called from the small blind. Adams check-raised the 3♣Q♣8♠ flop from 12k to 25k.
Banfield called and both players checked the 9♦ but after a check from Adams on the A♥ river, Banfield slid out a stack of yellows that looked like about 75k. After a few seconds in the tank, Adans folded, showing a queen. Banfield showed the A♣ as he raked in the pot.

Final Table Faces
Level: 16 (3000/6000/6000) Entries: 7/56 Prizes: $21,280 ($10,080 prizes, $11,200 bounties) -
Final Table Time
Level: 15 (3000/5000/5000) Entries: 7/56 Prizes: $21,280 ($10,080 prizes, $11,200 bounties) They are down to the final table now after Mohsen Shafizadeh ended his run in 8th place tonight. That puts them at the 7-handed final table, but they are still one player off the money. Ty Adams, Jordan Banfield, Nathaniel Brown, Derek Letourneau, Weston Pring, Debi Loomer, and Kurt Lillemo are the final seven players.
-
Loomer Limps to Win in Family Pot
Level: 15 (3000/5000/5000) Entries: 8/56 Prizes: $21,280 ($10,080 prizes, $11,200 bounties) Debi Loomer opened the action with a limp and the rest of the table followed her to a flop of 10♠10♣9♠. It checked to Loomer and she bet 5k. Kurt Lillemo called from the button, Mohsen Shafizadeh folded the small blind, and Weston Pring called from the big.
The remaining three players checked the 3♣ turn but after a check from Pring on the 2♣ river Loomer bet 10k and that was enough to take it down.
-
Taylor Triples
Level: 14 (2000/4000/4000) Entries: 9/56 Prizes: $21,280 ($10,080 prizes, $11,200 bounties) Haven Taylor is quite short but she just got a triple with a deuce high flush. After two all-ins in front of her from Natnaniel Brown and Jordan Banfield, she decided to call off her stack from the big blind with six-deuce. She was up against two ace-kings and exclaimed “I’m SO live” when she saw the hands.
The board ran out to four clubs, and her deuce was a club so she took down the full triple, while the ace-kings chopped the side pot.

Final Flight to Day 2 Boarding Saturday
Event: #1: $340 Deepstack ($300 + $40) Dates: Day 1a: Nov 7, 2 PM
Day 1b: Nov 8. 2 PM
Day 1c, Nov 9, 2 PM
Day 2: Nov 10, NoonBlinds: 30/40 Min Start Stack: 20k Late Entry: 10 Levels (~8:15 pm) Day 1 Ends: 16 Levels ~11:30 pm (or 10%+1 of Starting Field) After two starting flights for the Deepstack game, the field is at 209 with $59,565 in prizes so far. The big leader after two days is Dale Posein with 445k. That’s nearly 200k more than second place Patricia Kananda. Todd Oakley, who won the PLO game on opening night, bagged stack #3 worth 271k while Mike Malm, leader from 1a, in fourth now. Scott Calvank rounds out the top five counts after two starting days.
Day 1c will replicate the previous starting flights, only bigger. I’m expecting around 150 for Saturday, but the final numbers remain to be seen.
Players sit down with 20k in chips to start their day, and entries will be accepted for the first 10 levels of play. With 30-minute blinds on Day 1 (Day 2 moves to 40 minutes), that should put the final chance to enter or rebuy at about 8:15 PM on Day 1.
They’ll play a maximum of 16 levels on Day 1 with the bags coming out after Level 16 or when the field hits 10%+1, whichever comes first. If they play until the end of 16, the bags will be out around 11:30 PM.
This game will be my main focus throughout the opening weekend of the series. I’ll keep an eye on the side events and move to them at the end of the days for this event, but most of my attention will be focused here at the start of the series.

Full prizes are listed under the Payouts tab.

Two Tables Remain
Level: 14 (2000/4000/4000) Entries: 18/120 (28/209) Prizes: $34,200 ($59,565) They are just 5 players away from the end of 1b now with the remaining field down to 18. There are about 20 minutes to play in Level 14 with a break scheduled following this level.
When they return from the break, there are still two levels on the schedule, but it seems pretty unlikely they’ll last that long. Most likely, the bags will come out shortly after the break, early in Level 15.
-
9 Off the End of the Day
Level: 13 (1500/3000/3000) Entries: 22/120 (32/209) Prizes: $34,200 ($59,565) They are down to 22 players left now in Day 1b with about 5 minutes to play in Level 13. That puts them 9 players away from the bags coming out with 13 left.
-
Some Regs Still in Action
Level: 12 (1500/2500/2500) Entries: 29/120 (39/209) Prizes: $34,200 ($59,565) With 29 players still in the mix, there are quite a few familiar faces out there including Mike Lonigro, Todd Oakley (who won the PLO last night), Preston Stevenson, Bash Ramahi, Lap Duong, Jo Teliani, Tyler Hurman, Peter Amic, and Nick Peterson.
-
45 Entries
Level: 7 (400/800/800) Entries: 34/45 Prizes: $17,550 ($8,550 prizes, $9,000 bounties) The PKO field is up to 45 entries now with 34 players still in action. That puts the combined prizes at $17,550 with $9k of that in the bounty pool and the rest reserved for prizes.
-
29 Players Remain
Level: 12 (1500/2500/2500) Entries: 29/120 (39/209) Prizes: $34,200 ($59,565) They are down to 29 left at the beginning of Level 12 now. That puts them 16 away from the bags coming out with the average stack right now at a bit more than 30 big blinds.
-
120 Entries for 1b
Level: 11 (1000/2000/2000) Entries: 35/120 (45/209) Prizes: $34,200 ($59,565) The 1b players are now back from dinner and entries are closed with 120 in the mix for the second flight. That puts the total field so far at 209 entries for combined prizes just shy of $60k. With 120 entries, that will mean that 13 players will advance from today’s flight, at least. Play could go as late as the end of Level 16, but with just four tables left in action, it seems likely they’ll make it to 13 before the scheduled end of the night.
